I am  Wunna Kyaw

As a Mobile Developer at GlobalWave Technology, I am responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications with a strong focus on performance and user experience. My role involves creating and managing applications primarily using Flutter, while occasionally utilizing native languages such as Kotlin and Swift to deliver feature-rich solutions. Collaborating closely with Backend Developers, I ensure seamless integration between Frontend and Backend components and have even contributed to API development using .NET. I take a proactive approach to enhancing core app features, such as improving GPS location accuracy, optimizing UI/UX for better user experiences, and boosting overall performance.

I co-founded Dev Pentagon, a freelance development group, alongside a talented team of nine members. As the Team Lead, I have been instrumental in driving the development of various projects, with a primary focus on the GatherGo app, utilizing Flutter as the main framework. I have played a key role in UI/UX design, contributing to the overall look and feel of the applications, while also defining the folder structure and architecture for all our projects to ensure scalability and maintainability.

During my time as a Frontend Developer at Myanmar Helpdesk (July 2022 - February 2023), I contributed to the development of a Healthcare Management System, a web application designed using React.js, which facilitates seamless consultations between users and doctors. Collaborating with a team of Frontend and Backend Developers, I played a vital role in designing the UI/UX using Figma, ensuring the system’s visual appeal and user-friendliness. By meeting development objectives and deadlines, I significantly contributed to the project’s success. Key technologies I utilized included React.js, Figma, and GitHub.

During my diploma program at Y-Max University, I gained comprehensive knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Laravel. I also became proficient in using Git for version control. As part of the program, I worked on various student projects, such as developing a Kanban Board using JavaScript and creating an E-Commerce website using PHP, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS, which enhanced my hands-on experience in web development.

I am currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Computer Science at the University of The People. While my progress has been slower due to the challenges posed by my country’s situation and balancing my time with other commitments, I continue to deepen my knowledge of computer science fundamentals. This program has been instrumental in strengthening my technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
